2024
- The team receive a residency with artsdepot, in collaboration with Tsitsit festival, to develop the piece. 
2025
- Eden and Rachel are awarded an MCGfutures bursary for writing and research work on the piece. 
- The team receive Arts Council funding for a workshop and industry sharing, with director Emma Jude Harris and musical director Candida Caldicot. The workshop, with a cast of 4, took place in September 2025 at artsdepot and Seven Dials Playhouse, to industry acclaim. 
In 1525, Jewish cousins Rosa and Esther abandon their small Italian village for vibrant, progressive Rome. Using family knowledge to make and sell their own cosmetics, they get drawn into a new world of high society, beauty standards, and poison…
Pretty Poison is a chamber musical that pulls from real historical figures and events, with a score inspired by contemporary female singer-songwriters.
